Food truck park set to open in Boise

BOISE, Idaho (CBS2) — A new food truck park is set to open in Boise this week.

The Green Acres food truck park is located right on the greenbelt next to Ann Morrison Park. It will feature four food trucks that will include a green acres bar, an ice cream shop, sushi, and even a coffee stand. Other food trucks will fill out the remaining spaces on a rotating basis.

Anny Frampton, Owner of the food truck park believes it will be a good spot for people to gather.

"I think everyone loves food trucks, but it's much better when they're all in one place where people can choose a variety or a big group of friends can come and you don't have to decide on what cuisine. Everyone can get what they want," she said.

The food truck park will also partner with local organizations and businesses to host events and host a local musician or band daily.
